    Meet Wendy…
    This pretty little lady came to us recently and is patiently awaiting her loving home.
    She is estimated to be a Springer x lab, but like many of the best things in life, she’s a bit of a mystery. She’s only Springer sized (although the photo makes her look bigger)

    She is 4 years old and looks and feels as young as can be. She’s a bright little lady and loves to show off her skills playing with and catching a ball, but after a game of fetch, she also loves some nice laid back chill time (ideally on a sofa or soft bed).

    She’s not been too bothered by the cats she’s met in ash and is good with other dogs provided that they aren’t overly pushy, overall she’s a dream to be around.

    Some of you may have already seen this gorgeous girl on our page. But for those who haven’t, meet Cher.

    Cher came to us a while ago as her owner had sadly died, however she was very overwhelmed by the change of circumstances so we allowed her some time to settle here in Ash before putting her up for rehoming.

    She is a 4 year old large collie cross of some description. She adores playing ball and would chase a toy for hours given the chance.

    Due to her large and somewhat excitable nature, a home with no small children would be best suited to Cher as she could unintentionally knock small children over.

    She was living with other dogs with no issues before she came to ash, however, she is not good with cats.

    We are open every day from 2 till 5 except Fridays if you’d like to come meet Cher. Could she be the missing piece from your heart and home?

    We are looking for a great home for our Charlie and Buster. A home who understands Bassetts needs and their type of personality. They are wonderful breed and we love them very much.

    Meet our happiest Malcolm.

    Malcolm is about 2 years old pitbull terrier who has been found straying and ended up in the safety of Ash.

    Malcolm is the most sweet boy. He is so affectionate and adores people. He is extremely friendly and whoever meets him, falls in love. He is such a great mannered boy. He loves his sleep and is very chilled.

    Malcolm is great on the lead but he can be strong at times, especially when he leaves his pen. After a few minutes of walkies he walks perfectly.

    We are looking for a five star adult only, experienced home for our Malcolm. A home with no other pets to give him the best chance possible. A home which can offer him lots of love and a happy place to relax and chill. We know that Malcolm will make someone very happy. We can guarantee that a person who will come especially for him, will fall in love with this boy from the first sight.

    Teddy Bear

    Meet our sweet Teddy Bear.

    Teddy is 6 years old German Shepherd cross who has been surrendered to us due to change in circumstances. Teddy was adopted from Ash when he was a puppy but was returned to us after 2 years.

    Teddy Bear is a striking looking boy. He is freindly and happy chap who is spending bet time of his life in a rescue rather than a home. Teddy is a big boy and loves walkies. He is a little nervous but adorable.

    Teddy takes his time to get to know you so if you are coming to meet him please allow him that little bit of time to relax in your company and you’ll see him shine for sure.

    Teddy is generally good with other dogs but after spending longer time in rescue we think that a home with no other animals and small children will be the best for Teddy. We want to make sure he gets the best possible chance to shine. A home with German Shepherds experience would be amazing.

    Please come ask foe our Teddy Bear especially. He’d love that. This sweet boy really deserves a home to call his own..

    Meet our sweetheart boy called Rudy.

    Rudy is 10 years old beautiful soul hairy lurcher cross (maybe with some Irish Wolfhound).

    Rudy was used in badger baiting and was found dumped at the bottom of our lane after half of his nose was eaten by a badger during one of the hunting nights. He has been with us since. Having only a half of the nose doesn’t stop Rudy. His nose is fully functioning and he is a happy and healthy older boy.

    Rudy is a gentle big boy. Walking him is a pleasure. He is great on the lead and he greets everyone with a smile. Rudy is good with other dogs, especially dogs of his size e.g. lurchers. Because of his past he would not be suitable in a home with cats or small dogs. As a lot of dogs, Rudy has his instinct. He loves people and is very gentle.

    Rudy has been with us for a long time. We love him dearly but we believe it is a time for our Rudy to find a home. He loves his comforts and he loves his sleep. He dreams of a very relaxed home full of love. We can se ethis in his eyes. He still has this hope that the right home will come.

    Rudy is regularly walked in Ash and is loved by all dog walkers and volunteers.

    We are looking for a five star home for Rudy. If you think you can give a chance to an older dog with a sad past, please get in touch. Rudy will show you all the love he has. He is the most gorgeous dog and we wish that his dreams will come true…
